WWE Raw notes: Becky Lynch & Zoey Stark advance to MITB, Rollins retains title, Jey Uso to make his choice

Money in the Bank qualifying matches continued on the June 5th Monday Night Raw. Becky Lynch defeated Sonya Deville to advance and later in the show, Zoey Stark bested Natalya to secure her spot in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. 

Closing out Raw was Seth Rollins successfully defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. Finn Bálor stared Rollins down after the match. 

Following Solo Sikoa spiking his brother Jimmy Uso and choosing to side with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns over The Usos, Paul Heyman appeared on tonight’s program and stated that Jey Uso will make his choice on the 5/9 SmackDown. 

There was a Miz TV segment with Cody Rhodes. Miz brought out Dominik Mysterio. Rhodes mentioned Dominik spending 15 minutes in prison and added that he has a worse ‘prison tattoo’ than Mysterio does. Dominik slapped Cody and then hid behind SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Brandi Rhodes commented on the segment and noted that Cody won’t hit Rhea but she will. 

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER scored a win over Kevin Owens via a roll up. GUNTHER caught him after Owens went to the outside to help Sami Zayn fight off Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance made their Monday Night Raw debuts and fell in defeat to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler in a non-title bout. 

Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) are going to help Maxxine Dupri prepare for Valhalla. Dupri has not had her first wrestling match yet. She stated in an interview that she is ready for when that day comes.
