AEW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are inching closer to their Forbidden Door 2 pay-per-view and on this week’s Dynamite, Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) are taking on CHAOS (Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor).
Bryan Danielson is going to be on commentary and it is official that Danielson is taking on CHAOS’ Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door 2.
Over the weekend at NJPW Dominion, Moxley, Castagnoli and Shota Umino challenged Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships.
They were not able to become champions but post-match, Moxley threw to a video message from Danielson to set up the match with Okada.
