Four way match for ROH World Tag Team Titles added to Death Before Dishonor

Joining the fray is a four way Tag Title match. 

Coming up this Friday on July 21st is Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. The match card is rounding out and a new addition was made, as confirmed by AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan. 

He revealed that the ROH World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as The Lucha Bros (Rey Fénix & Penta El Zero Miedo) defend their belts in a four way involving The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) and the returning Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher). 

Davis has been sidelined with an injury and Aussie Open had to relinquish the IWGP and NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships. They were signed to AEW during Davis’ injury period. 

With this match being made official, below is the Death Before Dishonor lineup: 

  • ROH World Championship: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. TBA
  • ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. TBD
  • ROH Pure Championship — Pure Rules Match: Katsuyori Shibata (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
  • ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
  • ROH World Tag Team Championships — Four Way Match: Lucha Bros (Rey Fénix & Penta El Zero Miedo) (c) vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) vs. Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher)
