Gage would wrestle Hardy at any time.

At Game Changer Wrestling’s ‘My Name Is’ event on August 4th, Jeff Hardy made an appearance. He had a confrontation with GCW World Champion Blake Christian who was ran off by Masha Slamovich.

Coming out to the ring to join Jeff was Nick Gage. After the event, Gage spoke to MuscleManMalcolm and said it was a dream come true being in there with Hardy. He stated that he would wrestle Jeff at any time and put the pizza cutter to his forehead.

Dream come true man (being in the ring with Jeff Hardy). Another guy who paved the way for a lot of guys in this business, especially this craft that people are applying now. The young generation, well, they’re young to me now (he laughed). Coming up, I think he paved the way for a lot of guys who are doing their thing right now. It was an honor to be in there with him, super cool guy, friendly in the back, everybody was cool with him so, we always love having people like Jeff Hardy come through GCW… I would wrestle Jeff Hardy any time, anywhere, any place, you know me. I’ll wrestle anybody. Of course I’d win. I would put the pizza cutter to his forehead and I feel like he might be crying a little bit. Yup, and then I would hit him with the double piledriver powerbomb. Roll him up and pin him.

On the August 9th AEW Dynamite, in a rematch from Double or Nothing 2022, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) are taking on The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).
