Former IMPACT and NWA Champion Nick Aldis is reportedly in Minneapolis for tonight’s episode of Raw.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has been told that Aldis will be attending a number of upcoming WWE TV dates, with an eye to a potential role as a producer.

The 36-year-old’s last big in-ring appearance was at IMPACT Slammiversary on July 15th, when he lost a title challenge against Alex Shelley in the main event. He subsequently took part in the company’s next TV tapings but parted ways after that.

He refused to confirm or deny interest from WWE during an interview on K100 with Konnan & Disco.

Aldis also recently pulled out of some independent dates in August, citing issues with his back.

The Englishman had a lengthy spell as Magnus with TNA/IMPACT between 2008 and 2015.

He also had a notable run with the National Wrestling Alliance, holding the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship for over 1,000 days.
