She wants to do everything she can.

The first-ever IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI held a press conference to announce that at the end of September, she’ll be taking a leave of absence from wrestling. It was first reported by PWInsider and corroborated by F4WOnline that she is scheduled to return to WWE.

After the presser, Tokyo Sports caught up with KAIRI and she told the outlet she believes her time in wrestling is limited due to her age. She wants to do as much as she can. KAIRI is 34 years of age.

I think my time for wrestling is limited due to my age, so I want to do everything I can.

Coming up for KAIRI are bouts in September. She’ll be in action for Sendai Girls’ and All Japan Pro Wrestling that month.
