Sabin is champion once again.
In the main event of the first episode of IMPACT was Chris Sabin and at IMPACT 1000, he closed the show by challenging Lio Rush for the X Division Championship.
Sabin went on to defeat Rush for the title which puts him at 10 reigns as X Division Champion.
The locker room cleared out to join Sabin in the ring as he celebrated. It was at Slammiversary that Rush won the title from Sabin in under two minutes.
Several months later, Sabin is back on top of the X Division as its champion.
