NJPW unveils field for 2023 Super Junior Tag League tournament

The field for Super Junior Tag League. 

Come October 21st, New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s 2023 Super Junior Tag League tournament will be underway. There are 10 teams in this year’s field, including the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, BULLET CLUB War Dogs’ Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney. 

2022 Super Junior Tag League winner YOH is a part of the tourney but his usual partner Lio Rush is not teaming with him this go-around. NJPW noted on their official website that due to Rush’s illness on the Destruction tour, YOH will have a new partner for the 2023 installment of the tourney. Here is the field for Super Junior Tag League:

  • Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita
  • TJP & Francesco Akira
  • BUSHI & Titán
  • Master Wato & El Desperado

  • The D.K.C. & Ryusuke Taguchi
  • Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA
  • DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku

Super Junior Tag League will conclude on November 4th at Power Struggle. The winners of Super Junior Tag League secure a shot at the Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles at Wrestle Kingdom.
