Eight Man Opener

Rampage kicked off with Orange Cassidy, Danhausen, Hook & Trent Berretta taking on Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, Angelo Parker & Matt Menard. Early in the match, the faces actually got Hook to participate in the group hug. Shortly after, Wheeler Yuta’s music hit, distracting Hook and allowing the heels to take control with Yuta merely coming out late to join the commentary booth. Danhausen then brought Hager’s hat back out and Hager jumped into the ring allowing Hook to apply Redrum to Parker and Danhausen to roll-up Menard for the victory.

Trios and Strife

Sting and Ric Flair Promo

Tony Schiavone introduced the two legends and brought up how this past Wednesday it was announced that Greensboro would be host to AEW Revolution in 2024 and Sting’s final match. Ric Flair got on the mic and lamented still being alive in 2023. Flair said that Dusty Rhodes, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, and Sting as being his favorite in-ring brethren. Flair said that the word icon wasn’t a big enough word and continued, “I can’t tell you where we’ll be like the old days but you know we’ll be going AEW strong”. Flair’s other additional controversial comments were obviously edited out here and nothing new was really said that wasn’t already discussed on Dynamite.

Stat, Shida, and Skye

The Don Callis Family

Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher squashed Jah-C, Kit Sackett & Renny D, an unnamed jobber trio on TV in exactly one minute. Don Callis then got on the mic and cut a promo on The Golden Jets.

Women’s Trios Match

Next up was Anna Jay, Ruby Soho, and Saraya taking on Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue, and Kris Statlander. Despite some communication issues during the match, the faces prevailed thanks to Skye Blue’s Code Blue on Ruby Soho.

Blue League Action – Tomorrow Night on Collision

Main Event

The main event of the evening was a Trios match between Penta El Zero Miedo, Komander & El Hijo del Vikingo, and The Workhorsemen & Brian Cage. This was a fun back-and-forth match until Anthony Henry accidentally nailed Brian Cage causing Cage to retaliate and then Cage and Prince Nana left, allowing the faces to pick up the win in just over eleven minutes.
