Unagi Sayaka reveals she’s using her savings to have independent show take place at Korakuen Hall

Sayaka put all of her financial support behind the show.

Come January 7th, Unagi Sayaka is going to be presenting an independent show at Korakuen Hall. She’ll be receiving support from All Japan Pro Wrestling, who she’s competed for on multiple occasions in 2023.

To promote the upcoming event, Sayaka spoke to Tokyo Sports and revealed that she used her savings to make the show a reality. It cost her four million yen which equates to $28,000 USD.

I didn’t want to do it in a small way, so I decided to use up all the 4,070,000 (yen) I had in my savings and hold my own show in the place where I was born as a professional wrestler. But still, Korakuen, it was expensive!

The likes of Jun Kasai, Minoru Suzuki, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, Masato Tanaka and others are scheduled for the show. The full card can be viewed here.
