AEW Dynamite received a lift in its 18-49 audience, although the overall audience didn’t spike for the heavily promoted show.

The February 7 episode from Phoenix averaged 805,000 viewers and 368,000 (0.28) in the 18-49 demographic, as reported by Wrestlenomics.

The overall audience saw a slight dip of 2% while the 18-49 demographic grew by 9% this week.

In the key demographic, males grew from 236,000 to 252,000 with women increasing from 101,000 to 116,000 viewers, which led to Dynamite’s largest audience in the demo since January 17.

Adults 18-34 increased 44% from last week with 160,000 viewers and its largest audience in the category over the past three weeks. Females in the demo saw a jump from 36,000 viewers to 64,000 this week.

Adults 35-49 experienced a decline from 226,000 to 218,000.

We have not received Canadian figures yet.

The show was promoted around Sting & Darby Allin challenging for the AEW tag titles and was heavily promoted over the past two weeks. It also saw a rematch between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland.

Wrestlenomics reports the peak quarter for overall viewership was during the first fifteen minutes of the show with 878,000 viewers for the beginning of the Hangman Page vs. Swerve Strickland match. The high point among the 18-49 audience was from 8:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET with Toni Storm vs. Red Velvet, the post-match with Deonna Purrazzo, and a backstage segment with Orange Cassidy & Best Friends at 388,000 viewers.
