GCW World Championship Match: GCW World Champion Blake Christian with Shane Mercer vs. Masha Slamovich

The signal went down at the start of the match, causing video and audio synchronization issues throughout. Halfway through, Blake retrieved a ladder from backstage. Masha slammed a chair across Blake’s head and kicked him in the face. She then set up the ladder between Blake’s legs and struck him in the groin with it. Masha dumped Blake back-first onto the ladder with a suplex for a near fall. Propping the ladder in the corner, Masha was sent back-first into it and then suplexed in the center of the ring. Blake locked her in a Texas Cloverleaf, but Masha refused to submit, eventually reaching the bottom rope.

They traded fists and slaps, with Blake bringing Masha down to her knees with a handspring head kick, followed by a big fastball fist and a superkick 450 Splash for a two count. Masha knocked Blake off the top rope and delivered a piledriver, but Blake managed to kick out, only to then receive a Shining Wizard, yet still kicked out. Blake executed an Air Raid Crash in the center of the ring, but Masha bridged up at the last second.

Blake then placed Masha’s head in a chair and hit her with a running knee strike, but Masha kicked out at one. Blake continued the assault with punches, while Mercer brought out a door from underneath the ring. Together, Mercer and Blake set up a double-door bridge. Blake and Masha fought on top of the ladder over the door bridge. Masha knocked Blake off the ladder with repeated headshots. Mercer caught him but was then tossed off by Masha.

Deathmatch: John Wayne Murdoch vs. Kasey Catal

These two have had some epic battles in ICW No Holds Barred but now it was time to bring that same magic to the biggest stage in Deathmatch Wrestling: Game Changer Wrestling. Murdoch has never beaten Kasey in either singles or tag team action. Kasey hammer-fisted a bundle of tubes into Murdoch’s head, Murdoch turned the tables and draped a pane of glass across the second rope, Kasey hit Murdoch with rana through a pane of glass followed by a senton to the floor. Kasey slammed a gusset into Murdoch’s face, back, and arms busting him open once again. Murdoch hit Kasey across the back with a steel chair followed by a bundle of tubes across her back and used the jagged edge to dig into her forehead. He slammed a gusset into her forehead as well causing her to leak. Kasey grabbed a gusset plate 2×4 and hit him in the arms with it, one of my favorite but least favorite spots in the Deathmatch catalog. Murdoch returned the favor and hit her in the shoulder and back with the gusset plate 2×4. Murdoch set up a pane of glass in the corner and sent Kasey crashing face-first into the pane. Murdoch broke a bundle over Kasey’s back but Kasey was able to kick out. Kasey fired up and hit Murdoch with a leg sweep into the broken glass and hit him with a crucifix bomb into a bundle of tubes. Murdoch pulled Kasey off the top rope with a flatliner into the broken glass for another close near fall. Murdoch sent Kasey to the floor and dug glass into the palm of her hand, the crowd started to get behind Kasey as Murdoch set up another pane of glass in the corner and sent her face first into the pane but somehow Kasey was able to kick out. Big Vin and Matt Borruso, the MVPs of GCW, assisted Murdoch with setting up a door bridge and Matt brought in a scissor lift. Kasey broke a bunch of tubes across Murdoch’s head, Kasey placed Murdoch across the door with a pane of glass on top. Kasey ascended on the scissor lift with the help of the MVP Matt, Brandon Kirk entered the ring and set the pane of glass on fire as Kasey came off the lift with an elbow for the victory.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: THRUSSY vs. Maki Death Kill Club

Sheik and Maki started the match with some standing switches, eventually wrestling to a stalemate. Sheik did a split, and Maki followed suit as Katch and Tremont entered the match. Katch attempted to take Tremont off his feet with a shoulder block, but Tremont didn’t budge, repeatedly shrugging off Katch’s attempts. Katch staggered Tremont with a kick to his head, leading to EFFY delivering an atomic drop followed by running hip thrusts from EFFY and Katch. Tremont retreated into the corner, where EFFY hit him with a Bronco Buster.

Gage tagged himself in, engaging in a fist and forearm exchange with EFFY in the center of the ring. EFFY executed a Northern Lights suplex, but Gage countered with a spinebuster. The match broke down with all six competitors throwing fists in the center of the ring. The Maki Death Kill Club unleashed Boot Scrapes on THRUSSY, slicing them open with their pizza cutters, causing them all to bleed.

EFFY and Sheik took out Gage and Tremont, double-teaming Maki until she managed to counter with a double DDT on both of them. Katch then went on a rampage with her running hip attack combo. However, Katch fell victim to a piledriver. Tremont delivered a DVD to EFFY in the corner. Meanwhile, Itoh climbed to the top rope and dove onto THRUSSY. Gage sent EFFY back into the ring, where Tremont hit him with a Samoan Drop, followed by a triple Kokeshi from MDK Club, but the pin was broken up by Katch and Sheik.

Tremont and Gage brought doors into the ring, engaging in a battle on the top rope. Gage attempted an avalanche piledriver on Katch, but Sheik intervened, sending Gage through a door bridge. EFFY capitalized by hitting Tremont with a Sack Ryder, but Mance Warner unexpectedly appeared from the locker room, attacking EFFY and Tremont with a steel chair. Mance then retrieved a screwdriver from his boot and viciously stabbed EFFY in the forehead with it.

Tag Team Match: Abdullah Kobayashi and Ryuji Ito vs. Los Macizos

Los Macizos were sent into the ropes, which were covered with tubes, and they began breaking tubes over each other’s heads. The Japanese Legends then took Macizos to the floor, continuing to beat them down with tubes and broken pieces of glass. Kobayashi bounced Ciclope’s head off the hard cam tripod leg and then stuck him in the forehead with a fork. Back inside the ring, Ciclope stabbed Abdullah in the head with the fork and followed up with a DDT. Ito and Miedo returned to the ring, exchanging clotheslines. Miedo dumped Ito onto the broken glass for a near fall, and Ito returned the favor by placing a bunch of chairs on top of him. He went for the pin, but Ciclope intervened by coming off the top with a bundle of tubes. Kobayashi hurled a chair at Miedo in a Sabu-like fashion as all four men launched tubes at each other, with Miedo throwing Kenzans at everyone, hammering them into each other’s heads.

“I think he’s in a constant state of leak” – Emil Jay on Abdullah Kobayashi.

Miedo headbutted a bundle into Ito’s head and set up a glass bridge in the center of the ring. Ito was dumped neck-first into the pane of glass, but he quickly popped back up and took Miedo down with a suplex of his own. Kobayashi landed a Shining Wizard on Ciclope, but he quickly recovered and struck Kobayashi across the head with a steel chair. Miedo set up a door bridge on the floor as Ciclope placed a pane of glass over the prone body of Kobayashi and came off the top with a senton for a two count. Ciclope called for Matt and Big Vin to bring in a light tube contraption. Ciclope was sent through the tube structure, and Kobayashi and Ciclope traded headbutts in the center of the ring. Abdullah hit Ciclope with a German suplex on the glass for a near fall. Ito came off the top rope with a big splash onto Miedo, sending them both crashing through a door on the floor. Ciclope missed a Tubesault, and Kobayashi struck him over the head with a giant bundle of tubes followed by an elbow drop for the victory.
