Two dates are now off the schedule for Max.
The week of wrestling events and festivities in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are kicking off on 4/4. Two of those shows are EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch that is part of GCW’s The Collective and TJPW’s Live In Philly show.
Max The Impaler was scheduled for both events, but had to pull out due to contracting COVID-19. Max posted the following on X:
MAX IS UNABLE TO ATTEND SCHEDULED SHOWS DUE TO COVID. MAX IS VERY SAD AND APOLOGETIC TO THE TJPW FANS AND EFFY. MAX HAS BEEN PRETTY HEALTHY AND CAUTIOUS. THIS COULD NOT HAVE COME AT A WORSE TIME.

Also being pulled from TJPW shows in Philadelphia is Nao Kakuta. She went down with an illness and is not leaving Japan.
