While sidelined, Charlette jumped into a family business.

For four years, The Renegade Twins (Charlette Renegade & Robyn Renegade) have been tagging and their travels have taken them to NWA, ROH and All Elite Wrestling among other promotions.

Since late 2023, Robyn has been competing as a singles talent as Charlette is sidelined. Charlette shared with Women’s Wrestling Talk that a ‘small incident’ is the reason she’s been out. Although she’s not been able to compete, she jumped into the family business.

The Renegade Twins’ grandfather has owned a barbershop in Georgia for 50 years. He taught their mother how to cut hair and Charlette learned during this off period.

At the start of the year, I had a small incident occur that put me out for six months. We’re quickly approaching that six months now but what I’ve been doing during that six months is I’ve learned how to cut hair, I’ve become a barber as kind of a side job while I’m out. I’m here and I’m supporting Robyn (Renegade) and trying to help her as much behind the scenes as I can, trying to be there for her as much as I can for her but, we’re quickly approaching the end of our six months so hopefully you guys should start seeing (me) more back out there with her.

My grandfather has owned a barbershop in Tucker, Georgia for the last 52 years. So, he taught my mom how to cut hair 20 years ago and they’ve been working there forever. My mom took a short break. She went off and made her own business and has recently come back to cutting hair and when I was set off to the side with this break that I’m having to take, I started going up to the barbershop every day and just being a little bit of a help by sweeping and mopping and folding towels. Just doing what I could to make a little extra money and I looked at my grandad one day and he was like, ‘Why don’t you just get your license? Because you’re in here every day. It shouldn’t take you that long,’ and because I’m apprenticing under my grandfather and my mom, they’re allowing me the time to take off for wrestling when I need to take off for wrestling when I do come back and still allow me to get my license. But the entire point was to make the barbershop three generations deep so we have my grandfather, my mom and me.

In May, Robyn competed on AEW television twice. She wrestled Thunder Rosa on Collision and then had a match against Deonna Purrazzo on Rampage
