Kingston posts an image reacting to it.

Following Bryan Danielson retaining his AEW World Championship over Jack Perry at All Out, Luchasaurus/Killswitch ambushed him from behind to set the stage for Christian Cage to become AEW World Champion. Cage won the Casino Gauntlet at All In, which earned him a contract for a title match at any time of his choosing.

Stopping Cage from using the contract was Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC and Wheeler Yuta. They then went to celebrate in the ring with Danielson but shortly after, Castagnoli turned on Danielson. PAC held Yuta from intervening as Moxley wrapped a plastic bag around Danielson’s head.

Over the summer, Eddie Kingston revealed that he pitched the plastic bag angle to AEW President Tony Khan for his feud with Chris Jericho. He stated that Khan was not on board with the idea. The first time the angle was done was at Clash of Champions 8 during Ric Flair and Terry Funk’s feud.

Taking to Instagram, Kingston shared a drawing of three characters (drawing by @kaybebop_ on X & Instagram). On the left side, it appears to be him talking to Tony Khan and drawn above Kingston’s head was an image of a plastic bag, a chair and gasoline. The word ‘no’ is coming from Khan in the drawing.

On the right side of the image, it is a drawing of Kingston sitting on the couch injured. He is sidelined after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL and meniscus.
