Jey Uso wins 2025 WWE men’s Royal Rumble by last eliminating John Cena

Jey Uso is heading to WrestleMania. 

The winner of the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match is Jey Uso and he won by last eliminating John Cena. Uso is now set to challenge either Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes or World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41.

The match started out with Rey Mysterio and Penta at the #1 and #2 spots. There was a spot when Mysterio took Penta over the ropes with a hurricanrana, but Penta’s feet accidentally touched the floor. His elimination was not enforced. He was later officially eliminated by Finn Bálor, who entered at #18 with a new theme song.

Coming in at #15 was TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Hendry was eliminated by Roman Reigns. 

Making his return to WWE was A.J. Styles at the #21 spot with his ‘Phenomenal’ theme song by CFO$. It was Styles’ first match since being injured in October. He was eliminated by #30 entrant Logan Paul. 

Jacob Fatu was eliminated by Braun Strowman. Coming in at #23 was John Cena and there was a point when Cena and Reigns had a stare off, but they were soon joined by CM Punk. Punk eliminated Reigns and Seth Rollins and then immediately after, he was thrown out by Logan Paul.

On the outside of the ring, Rollins Curb Stomped Reigns and then began brawling with Punk. Rollins went back to Curb Stomp Reigns onto the ring steps. 

The final three were Cena, Paul and Jey Uso. Cena eliminated Logan. The final sequence of the match saw Cena and Uso on the ring apron and Cena lifted him up for an Attitude Adjustment. Uso slid off of Cena’s shoulders back into the ring and then pushed Cena off to win. After the bout, Cena embraced Jey.
