Nia Jax will get a chance to regain the WWE Women’s Championship.

Jax will rematch incumbent champ Tiffany Stratton as part of next week’s Friday Night Smackdown from the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., as announced on this week’s episode of the show.

Jax had her 153-day run as champ suddenly brought to an end early last month by Stratton. The 2024 Money In The Bank winner cashed in on Jax shortly after she defended her belt in a 20-minute match against Naomi, causing the weakened champ to drop her title in just eight seconds.

Jax informed Stratton on this week’s episode of Smackdown that she has been granted a rematch by General Manager Nick Aldis, possibly affecting who 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair will pick as her opponent at Wrestlemania.

Stratton will be looking to defend her title for the second time. She previously defended her belt just a few weeks back in a 20-minute victory against Bayley.

Chamber qualifying bouts added to next week

Elimination Chamber qualifying matches will continue in Washington.

On the men’s side, a triple threat featuring Jacob Fatu, Braun Strowman, and new Smackdown addition Damian Priest will take place. A win for Strowman or Priest will secure them a second-ever Chamber appearance, with a potential first booking in the stipulation bout since 2018 for Strowman if he wins. Fatu would be a first-time Chamber entrant if he can prevail.

The women’s portion of the qualifiers will include a bout between Naomi and Chelsea Green.

Naomi has previously appeared in two different Elimination Chamber matches, including on last year’s card in Perth, Australia. Green, who is eyeing another title alongside her U.S. belt, would be entering her first-ever Chamber bout.

Here’s a look at the three bouts added to next week’s Smackdown thus far:

  • Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax (WWE Women’s Championship)
  • Naomi vs. Chelsea Green (Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier)
  • Damian Priest vs. Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman (Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier) (Triple Threat)
