On the 4/15 program, there is going to be a Fatal 4-Way match involving Eddy Thorpe, Ethan Page, Wes Lee and Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King. The winner will be challenging Ricky Saints for the NXT North American Championship at Stand & Deliver.
Prior to the show, footage was posted to social media from X users @BilliamSan and @jaymoviemania of the crowd chanting about Swerve Strickland in support of NXT commentator Booker T. Strickland and Booker have been going back and forth and making remarks about one another through media appearances. After AEW’s Dynasty pay-per-view went off the air, Strickland spoke to the live crowd and said ‘f*ck Booker T.’ Booker responded on his podcast. At the NXT show, the crowd chanted, ‘F*ck you Swerve, all hail King Booker’ and ‘Swerve, we coming for you.’
After Hank Walker and Tank Ledger lost their tag match, they were given advice by WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins). Dawkins and Ford then revealed that there is going to be a tag team gauntlet on 4/15 with the winners challenging Fraxiom for the NXT Tag Team Championships at Stand & Deliver. The following teams are competing in the gauntlet:
- Yoshiki Inamura & Josh Briggs
- No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights & Myles Borne)
- Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
- The Culling (Niko Vance & Brooks Jensen)
- Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe
In the main event of the show, Darkstate (Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox & Cutler James) picked up a win over Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams and NXT Champion Oba Femi in a six-man tag. Shugars got the pinfall on Evans. Femi and Williams came to blows and left Evans on his own. Post-match, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo called out Darkstate to meet The D’Angelo Family in the Performance Center parking lot on 4/15.
Shawn Spears spoke with fellow members of The Culling (Izzi Dame, Niko Vance & Brooks Jensen) about his North American Title loss. He stated that them bonding was never about what he could gain although he’s proud to have held a title in WWE. Spears added that it’s now time to focus on Dame, Vance and Jenson taking the next steps in their careers. Later in the night, Vance and Jenson defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger and on the Izzi Dame front, she scored a win over Wren Sinclair to qualify for the vacant Women’s North American Title Ladder match at Stand & Deliver.
Sol Ruca is joining the field for the vacant Women’s North American Title Ladder match. She picked up a victory over Jazmyn Nyx and the field now consists of ZARIA, Kelani Jordan, Ruca, Izzi Dame and there are two spots remaining.
