An update from Skye Blue.
Since the summer of 2024, Skye Blue has been away from in-ring competition after she suffered a major ankle injury.
An update came directly from Blue as she partook in a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest. She is hoping to return soon and added that it is not easy rehabbing an ankle injury. In Skye’s case, her ankle completely disconnected from her leg.
I’m trying (to make my way back to the ring). Healing an ankle is not easy, and especially when it’s completely disconnected from your leg (she laughed). But, hopefully soon. Getting better and better every day.
She went on to state that being able to walk again is a positive and she remembers the time period when she was not able to do that.
I wish I knew, brother (Blue responded to another question about when she’s returning). But I’m trying. I’m trying. I can walk. That is a plus. I remember when I couldn’t do that and I was butt scooting up my stairs. Oh, that was the worst… It was funny.
It was in April 2023 that Blue officially received her All Elite graphic. She’d been working dates for the company since 2021.
