Knight asked MVP for advice backstage.
The newest talent to join the AEW talent roster is Kevin Knight. The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion is under a dual contract as he is signed to both AEW and NJPW.
Knight’s name came up during an interview that MVP did with McGuire on Wrestling. Knight asked MVP for advice and here’s what The Hurt Syndicate member told him:
I was just telling Kevin Knight the other day. He asked me, ‘What advice could you give me right now?’ I said, ‘Look man, you’re dope. You still need to learn a few things in terms of showmanship on television. You’re wrestling ability and athleticism are unquestionable. But, you want my advice? Promo. Promo, promo, promo. Talk in the shower, talk in the car. People should think you’re a madman because you’re driving along in the car having a whole raging argument with somebody and people are like, damn, what’s a matter with that guy? Keep cutting a promo.’ Promo, promo, promo. Because that’s where you’re gonna make your money. If you’re a guy that works phenomenally and you can talk? Well, now you’re talking about drawing money.
In May, Knight is going to be heading to Japan to compete in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament.
