A second Triplemania has joined AAA’s schedule for 2025.
The Mexican Lucha Libre brand, which we learned last week has been acquired by WWE, will head to the 17,000-capacity Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico on June 15 for Triplemania Regia III.
It was previously announced that Triplemania XXXIII will go down at Mexico City Arena on August 16.
The upcoming event in Monterrey has maintained the city as an annual stop for the top show since 2019.
While Triplemania spent a large amount of the 2000s and 2010s as a single-night event, recently they have brought back the concept of hosting numerous nights throughout the year. In 2024, Triplemania took place in Monterrey, Tijuana and Mexico City over the course of five months.
Just before Wrestlemania on Saturday evening, it was announced that WWE had purchased AAA. The upcoming Monterrey show will take place just over a week after they co-promote a card with WWE’s NXT brand for Worlds Collide at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
