Jamie Lynn Senegal is not participating in the upcoming Dark Side of the Ring episode on the late Daffney.
Daffney (Shannon Spruill) will be profiled on next Tuesday’s penultimate episode of season six of the VICE TV series., The trailer has been released and features interviews with Mick Foley and Taylor Wilde.
With her signature scream and one-of-a-kind look, Shannon Spruill became a cult favorite as Daffney. Away from the ring, her quiet battles with injuries and mental health told a more powerful and personal story.

One name that won’t be included is wrestler Jamie Lynn Senegal, who was mentored by Daffney and affectionately referred to her as “her mother,” and likewise, Daffney would call her a “daughter”.

I already don’t like this because as someone who is still grieving & having trouble coping w/ the tragic loss of her friend, 4 years is still too soon. But, I will try to cool down & give it a chance. This episode better be fucking perfect.
Spruill died in September 2021 at 46, with the Gwinnett County Police Department ruling the death a result of suicide, and her brain was studied at the Boston University CTE Center and Brain Bank.
