The first week of NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors has wrapped with the tournament running over back-to-back nights this weekend.
Four shows are in the books, and two performers are undefeated.
The A Block leader is Kosei Fujita, who has six points with victories against Hiromu Takahashi, Francesco Akira, and Master Wato.
The block is followed by Akira, Dragon Dia, and Robbie X (four points); and Ninja Mack, Master Wato, KUSHIDA, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Hiromu Takahashi, and Clark Connors (two points).
Nick Wayne tops the B Block with six points and an undefeated record after wins against IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion El Desperado, Robbie Eagles, and SHO.
MAO, Robbie Eagles, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Titan have four points each; El Desperado, SHO, YOH, and Taiji Ishimori have two points each, and Kevin Knight has started the tournament at 0-3.
