El Hijo del Vikingo wins AAA Mega Championship; Los Garza to challenge for Tag Titles

El Hijo del Vikingo’s match with Chad Gable at WWE/AAA Worlds Collide will be for the AAA Mega Championship after all.

The match scheduled for the June 7^th show was advertised on the US airing of WWE Raw as being for the AAA top title, even though it was held by Alberto El Patron until Saturday night.

Vikingo defeated Patron in the Noches de Lucha Libre main event.

Earlier in the show, a video featuring WWE’s Legado Del Fantasma aired. They revealed that Los Garza (Berto & Angel) will take on Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) at Triplemania Regia for the AAA Tag Titles.

That match will take place at AAA Triplemania Regia in Monterrey on June 15^th.

Santos Escobar said the match was the first step in a plan that would also see him make a return to AAA.

All three members of Legado Del Fantasma will compete at Worlds Collide, facing Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.
