NXT achieved a three-week high in its 18-49 demographic during an off night for the NBA and NHL playoffs.

The June 3 episode from the Performance Center averaged 684,000 viewers and 201,000 viewers (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The audience increased by six percent while the core demo grew by seven percent over last week’s figures. It was the show’s largest audience in the 18-49 demo since May 13.

The key demographic to increase was males in the 18-49 category, growing from 128,000 viewers last week to 141,000, and its largest number since April 22.

Adults 18-34 averaged a 0.14 over the two-hour program but demonstrated a notable increase over the first 90 minutes of the program. During the first thirty minutes of NXT, the demo averaged 0.11, increased to 0.14, and then to 0.19 between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. ET before dropping to 0.13 for the last thirty minutes.

From 9-9:30 p.m. ET, NXT was the second largest show among all network programming in the 18-34 demographic behind America’s Got Talent on NBC at a 0.20.

Tuesday didn’t feature any NBA or NHL playoff games, although NXT aired against Major League Baseball on TBS and the WNBA on ESPN. NXT doesn’t collide with the NBA Finals or the Stanley Cup Finals next week.
