An altercation at WWE/AAA Worlds Collide has led to a title match being added to the Money in the Bank.

Dominik Mysterio will defend the Intercontinental Championship against AAA’s Octagon Jr. after a scuffle between the two at Worlds Collide.

The opening match of the co-promoted show saw Octagon Jr. and his partners Mr Iguana and Aero Star defeat Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Lince Dorado.

After the match, Dominick Mysterio, who was at ringside with Liv Morgan, told the winners they were fans of a “deadbeat” because they idolized Rey Mysterio.

He continued to berate them in Spanish when Octagon Jr. took exception and grabbed Dom out of his seat. The two then brawled in the ring.

After they were separated, Dominik told Octagon Jr. he would see him tonight at Money in the Bank and would put his title on the line.

Adam Pearce then made the match official via social media.
