During WWE’s Money in the Bank PLE on Saturday, the company confirmed it would return to Las Vegas in 2026 for WrestleMania 42.
The show had been announced back in February for New Orleans by Dwayne Johnson, but an abrupt about-turn was reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics on May 23.
Instead, New Orleans will play host to Money in the Bank 2026, with a future WrestleMania promised for the city.
Intense speculation that WWE would instead return to Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium was confirmed on Saturday.
In a video fronted by Paul Levesque, he said, “In my experience, anything worth doing is worth doing twice. So I’ve got just one question for you: are you ready to double down?”
The dates for the event were confirmed on screen as April 18 and 19.
