Moxley in Disguise

We see Toni Storm & Luther entering the building, before we go to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page & Christopher Daniels as Daniels tells Hangman he can’t fight all his enemies by himself, and they’ll be there to help in the locker room for him if needed. As Page is leaving, we see Jon Moxley in disguise watching him before he sends the rest of the Death Riders to go after him.

Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana)

This is their second encounter in AEW, after last matching up at Forbidden Door last June, where Swerve Strickland came up victorious. Overall, this is their fifth match with Will Ospreay picking up the first win in 2016 for wXw, and Swerve picking up the following wins in 2016 (PROGRESS) and 2017 (Riptide Wrestling). The crowd seems split at the start for both men as they start by testing each other with running the ropes and takedowns. Swerve takes down Ospreay with a big elbow strike, as we see Ospreay is bleeding profusely from his nose, before Ospreay hits a Sky Twister for two. Swerve takes over and gets the crowd fully behind him, before he gets sent to the outside, where Ospreay follows, just to get a kick to the face from the apron. Ospreay comes back with a springboard corkscrew kick before hitting a springboard elbow that sends Swerve to the outside. Ospreay follows with a Sasuke Special as we head to our first break of the night.

When we return, Swerve blocks an Os Cutter attempt, hits a neckbreaker before he sends Ospreay onto the apron, where he hits another neckbreaker, this one to the floor. Swerve brings him back in with a Swerve Stomp for a two. They go back and forth, reversing each other until Swerve catches Ospreay in a short-arm scissor. Ospreay powers out and sends Swerve backwards into the corner. Ospreay traps Swerve in the corner, before hitting a poison rana and setting up for the Hidden Blade, just for Swerve to block him. Ospreay lands the Os Cutter after a third attempt, but only gets a two-count. Swerve jumps to the outside but looks to be having knee issues, as Ospreay dives through behind him with a Hidden Blade, taking us into the second break of the match.

Ospreay lands a flurry of kicks on Swerve, finally getting him down on his knees, but as he tries another Hidden Blade, Swerve ducks it as Ospreay goes crashing into the corner. They head to the top rope, where Swerve flips Ospreay off by his left arm, as it’s the same arm that Swerve has been targeting throughout the match. Swerve escapes out of a Styles Clash attempt and hits a Dead Eye for a two-count. Swerve misses the Swerve Stomp and runs right into a Hidden Blade, but Ospreay still gets a two. They start trading strikes as Excalibur mentions there being 5 minutes left on the clock for this match. Swerve hits a House Call, heads to the top rope, and hits a Swerve Stomp, but Ospreay still kicks out at two. Swerve snaps Ospreay’s left arm and strikes another House Call, just to be stopped with a Hidden Blade and a Storm Breaker, but Swerve still kicks out. Ospreay sets up for the Tiger Driver, is conflicted at first, but fails to hit it. Swerve instead hits a Vertebreaker, followed by a House Call, but fails to go for the cover. With Ospreay on the apron, Swerve goes to the top rope, but before he can hit another Swerve Stomp, the bell rings, ending this contest.

Winner: The match ends in a time limit draw at 30:00

Swerve gets on the mic after and says the best finish their matches and calls for sudden death. Before the match can restart, the Death Riders make their way out to the ring. As Swerve has his back turned, he gets attacked from behind by The Young Bucks before they hit the EVP Trigger on him. Prince Nana tries to save Swerve, but gets taken out with a superkick. The Bucks handcuff Swerve to the corner, as Jon Moxley watches on as they start super kicking away at Swerve. The Bucks pull out Swerve’s Reebok sneakers with the thumbtacks on them, put them on, but before they can hit Swerve with superkicks, Ospreay gets in the way and takes the kicks instead. The doctor goes to check on Ospreay, who’s screaming in pain as Swerve is above him.

Why Okada?

Renee Paquette is in the back with Kazuchika Okada and asks if this version of Okada is ready for this version of Kenny Omega. Before Okada can say anything, Don Callis interrupts and asks why Okada is in this match and not Kyle Fletcher or Konosuke Takeshita, and asks if Okada has had a better six months than either of them. Okada grabs Callis’ hand before Fletcher, Takeshita & Lance Archer join in. Okada lets go and calls Callis a bitch, before walking off.

Komander Out

We see footage from earlier today, where The Hurt Syndicate has taken out Komander, removing his mask and removing him from tonight’s trios match. Komander will be replaced by Mascara Dorada.

Mistico vs. Blake Christian (w/ Lee Johnson)

Right away, Mistico heads to the ropes, but gets sent down hard by Blake Christian. Mistico comes back with a tijeras, goes back to the ropes with a spinning armdrag, sending Christian to the outside where he hits him with a tope suicida. Mistico sends Christian back inside and hits a springboard crossbody for two. Mistico tries to go to the top rope, but Lee Johnson holds his leg as Christian takes advantage, sending Mistico to the outside and hitting a Fosbury Flop, followed by a springboard 450 for a two-count. They head to the top rope, where Mistico hits a Spanish Fly to pick up the win.

Winner: Mistico by pinfall at 4:12

Sloppy Sin Cara

As soon as the match is over, The Hurt Syndicate makes their way out. MVP gets on the mic before saying that MJF has a message for Mistico. MJF says that was impressive, and he’s not easy to impress since he’s the best wrestler in the world today. MJF says he will give Mistico a match next week at Grand Slam Mexico, and he looks forward to ripping his ‘dime-store mask off his face’. For one night only, he is dusting off the red, white & blue gear for him before we see the US flag drop down and US streamers fly everywhere. MJF gets in the ring, but Mistico takes the mic from him and says he will see him next week in his house of Arena Mexico. MJF tells Mistico that to him, he’s just ‘sloppy Sin Cara’, and just like the flag he’s about to get dropped. Mistico fights him off, but the rest of The Hurt Syndicate attack Mistico. They go to take off Mistico’s mask, but Mike Bailey’s music hits. As The Hurt Syndicate wait for them to come out, Bailey, Kevin Knight & Mascara Dorada show up from behind and take them out with dives.

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF) vs. Jet Speed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Mascara Dorada

We head right into the match, as MVP goes and joins commentary (Sii-note: MJF has MVP-inspired gear on, to match the rest of The Hurt Syndicate. This is MJF’s first match since Revolution in March). MJF starts the match saying, ‘this is easy’, as Mascara Dorada takes him out before tagging out to Kevin Knight. Dorada gets sent flying off the apron to the floor as we head to a break.

When we return, MJF tries the MVP Ballin’ spot, but Dorada dodges it and tags out to Knight, taking MJF down with a big dropkick and splash for two. Mike Bailey tags in as he and Knight go at it with Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin, who outpower them both. MJF asks for the tag from Lashley and gets it. Dorada enters, but gets taken out by a spear from Lashley. Bailey kicks away at Lashley before launching Knight onto Lashley, hitting a sloppy DDT. Jet Speed takes out Benjamin with a double drop kick, sending him to the outside before the babyfaces all dive, including a Shooting Star Press from the middle rope from Dorada to MJF. MVP leaves the commentary table and takes out Bailey with his cane, as MJF follows with a hammerlock DDT to pick up the pin and the win.

Winners: The Hurt Syndicate (MJF, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) by pinfall at 11:22

The Hurt Syndicate keeps attacking Jet Speed & Dorada after the match, as MJF rips off Dorada’s mask. Mistico enters back in and takes out MJF with La Mistica, as MJF is tapping away before Lashley & Benjamin chase Mistico off.

Hangman Tries To Speak…

We hear Hangman Adam Page’s music, as he is set to talk, but it’s revealed that he is tied & taped up as Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir attack him and drag him into the ring. Jon Moxley joins in and says that he’s terribly sorry for all this and just wanted to make sure they had a real conversation. He continues that Page is distracted and they need him to be focused, because All In is ‘his time’ and for Page, it’s do or die. Moxley says he doesn’t understand Page and says he’s been searching high and low for something, but he doesn’t know what it is. Moxley says he has four weeks to find it and step up and become the man that everybody wants him to become. And if he’s not prepared to do that, he can pack his shit and get out. Page takes out Moxley with a headbutt, but the rest of the Death Riders quickly take him out. Claudio wraps a chair around Page’s neck, but before they can do anything, The Opps run out and chase the Death Riders away. Page gets on the mic and says he would ride through death itself for that championship, and if he finds any of them tonight, he will take their heads.

Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. TayJay (Anna Jay & Tay Melo)

This is Tay Melo’s first match in AEW since January 2023, where TayJay took on Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale in a street fight on Rampage (Sii-note: Despite commentary saying Melo has had a ‘two-year layoff’, she did have a match for Stardom this past January.) Melo & Megan Bayne face off as Melo tells her that she isn’t afraid of her, before getting pulled to the outside by Penelope Ford. Anna Jay & Ford go at it, with Jay kicking Ford on the top rope, before tossing her down and hitting a dropkick, tagging out to Melo. Bayne enters and takes out Jay with a big boot, as she and Ford pose going into commercial.

Bayne stays in control, sending Melo into the corner, but Melo dodges a splash and hits a trio of pump kicks. Melo escapes from a Faith’s Descent and puts on a Calf Slicer, but Bayne escapes by slamming Melo’s head to the mat. Melo sends Bayne to the outside and hits her with a cannonball, before Jay follows with a diving crossbody. Melo & Jay wait patiently as Ford takes them out with a moonsault from the top rope. Back inside, Bayne takes out TayJay with a fall-away slam, but Ford begs to be tagged in. Ford puts Melo on her shoulders, but Melo escapes and hits a knee to the face for the pin, as Jay is holding Bayne back.

Winners: TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay) by pinfall at 10:22

We got a video package on the history between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada with footage from their four matches in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Unified Championship Contract Signing

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Kazuchika Okada & Kenny Omega for their All In Texas contract signing. Schiavone mentions how the winner of this match will become the brand new AEW Unified Champion as we see a new title revealed with sideplates showing the One-Winged Angel & the Rainmaker. Okada signs the contract right away and passes it over to Omega. Omega says it’s been almost 7 years to the day since they had their last match, and watching the package that aired, he barely recognizes himself and says to leave it all in the ring, one final time for everything before he signs away. They shake hands before pulling each other in as The Don Callis Family’s music hits. Callis comes out by himself and says Omega should be ashamed of himself, as this match should involve Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher. Omega tells him to cut the shit and he knows why Callis is out there, but he’s beaten them and he won’t let him ruin this match. It’ll be Omega vs. Okada, and everybody else has to go to the back of the line. Omega says he knows all of Callis’ tricks, before Callis asks if he knows this one, as Okada attacks Omega from behind. Callis hands Okada a steel baton that he attacks Omega in the midsection with. A stretcher comes out for Omega as the Dynamite portion of Summer Blockbuster comes to an end.

As the stretcher goes to carry Omega out, Okada hits him with a top rope elbow drop. Christopher Daniels runs in and gets in Callis’ face, asking him how he could do this. Okada takes Daniels, before hitting another elbow drop on Omega on the outside as he is now spitting up blood everywhere. Callis & Okada go to leave the building in a car, as Alex Marvez unsuccessfully tries to get a word with them.

Kyle Fletcher (w/ Lance Archer) vs. Anthony Bowens (w/ Billy Gunn)

Adam Cole comes out and joins commentary for this match, as they start it fast, running the ropes with Anthony Bowens coming up on the winning end. Kyle Fletcher sends Bowens flying off the apron as we head to break.

When we come back, Fletcher tries to power bomb Bowens on the outside right in front of Cole, but Bowens escapes and drops Fletcher face-first onto the apron, before hitting a clothesline for a two-count. Bowens stays in control and calls for the Molly Wop, but Fletcher must have heard him, so he blocks it. Fletcher follows with a thrust kick and a sit-out powerbomb for a two-count. Bowens counters a Brainbuster with a twisting slam for a two-count, but as he goes for the Molly Wop again, Fletcher escapes to the outside just for Bowens to dive onto him. Lance Archer takes out Billy Gunn on the outside, distracting Bowens, and gets a kick in the corner, followed by the Brainbuster as Fletcher picks up the win.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher by pinfall at 11:34

We get a very patriotic video for MJF as they hype up his match against Mistico for next week’s Grand Slam Mexico.

Grand Slam Mexico Mayhem

Carlos Cabrera is in the ring and says that in seven days, they will be making history with AEW and CMLL. Cabrera starts hyping up someone with many accomplishments and championships before he brings out Atlantis, who comes out with Atlantis Jr. Before they can speak, they get interrupted by FTR and Stokely. Stokely says there are only two living legends, and they are standing right next to him, in FTR. Stokely tells Cabrera to ‘beat it’ and says Atlantis looks so old he’s about to defecate himself on national television and calls him scared. Stokely starts running down all of FTR’s recent accomplishments and says they turned Nigel McGuinness into a ‘pill popper’, hoping he would go to sleep and wake up in 2002, where he was last relevant. He continues that Daniel Garcia is contemplating retirement and opening up an OnlyFans page, before saying that Cope is at home staring at a wall. There is one more thing that FTR has to accomplish, and that is to perform in Arena Mexico. Dax Harwood takes over and says he’s not as upset as Stokely and is really excited about this partnership, as the crowd chants for him to ‘Shut the fuck up.’ Harwood calls CMLL the oldest promotion in professional wrestling before calling Atlantis the oldest wrestler in professional wrestling. They ask Atlantis how they thinks they would have fared in the 1930s when Atlantis wrestled before saying he would have beaten Santo, the Villanos, and Blue Panther, saying Atlantis would have been his bag boy. They continue insulting Atlantis’ age, before the Atlantises start attacking them. As FTR fights back, Adam Cole leaves the commentary table and helps out the luchadores. Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita & Hechicero run out to attack before Bandido & Templario join in. As the heels take control, Brody King runs out to even it out. Bandido & Templario hit dives to the outside as Harwood is surrounded by all the babyfaces. Atlantis calls them off and goes at it with Harwood and starts attacking him around the ring, chasing him into the crowd.

The WorkHorsemen Return

Lexy Nair is in the back with Big Bill & Bryan Keith, who say they cracked skulls with Gates of Agony, and say that’s only one W, and if there’s any other tag team that wants to step up, they can. The WorkHorsemen make their return as JD Drake says, just because they haven’t been in the ring in a year, doesn’t mean they can’t punch in and knock out.

Julia Hart vs. Toni Storm (w/ Luther)

Again, Mercedes Mone comes out for supposed commentary, and again chooses to go to her table, where she has even more food than last week, as she says she’s going to enjoy her dinner. Before the match can begin, Toni Storm goes to Mercedes as Julia Hart & Skye Blue attack Storm from behind, and Aubrey Edwards ejects Blue to the back. Storm yells at Aubrey to ring the bell despite her being attacked, as Hart takes advantage and right away hits the top rope moonsault for two. Storm sends Hart off the apron with a hip attack, before she sends us to commercial.

We return with Storm still in control, hitting a Fisherman’s Suplex for two. Hart takes over as Tony Schiavone reads a tweet from Mercedes that says that next week she will be going for the CMLL Women’s World Championship (Sii-note: The reigning champion is Zeuxis, who Mercedes defeated last June on Dynamite). Storm dodges Hart off the top rope and puts on the small package for the win.

Winner: Toni Storm by pinfall at 7:55

Mercedes enters the ring and starts smelling Storm, before she tosses her down and starts attacking her. Mina Shirakawa runs out and chases Mercedes away. As Mina has her back turned, Mercedes runs back in and takes her out. Mercedes raises the AEW Women’s World Championship and tells Storm to kiss it goodbye.

Ricochet Is Still Searching

We go to Lexy in the back with Ricochet, as he says he’s still searching for the perfect individuals to help him get gold. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson enter and say they saw Ricochet scouting them. Ricochet stops them and says they’ve been impressing the right people, but calls it embarrassing to see them playing wannabe Ricochet and tells them they are missing something.

Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii & Willow Nightingale vs. MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) & Taya Valkyrie (w/ Johnny TV)

We get The Conglomeration reunion here as we see Kris Statlander watching from the back before she walks off. Taya Valkyrie gets right in Tomohiro Ishii’s face and chops him, but he tags out to Willow Nightingale, who chops back in return instead. Mason Madden tags in and gets in Willow’s face, but she tags out to Mark Briscoe. Willow takes out both Taya & Johnny TV on the outside with a cannonball as Briscoe & Ishii go after MxM Collection with chops. All the men head to the top rope, before Willow joins and helps Ishii hit a double superplex on Madden. Briscoe follows with the froggy bow before taking out Johnny on the outside. Willow takes out Taya with the Babe With the Power Bomb to pick up the pin and the win.

Winners: Willow Nightingale, Tomohiro Ishii & Mark Briscoe by pinfall at 5:16

We heard from Kris Statlander last week after Fyter Fest, where she said she tried with Willow, but she’s done with her, so she’s done with that. Statlander says there is nobody else on the roster like her, as Wheeler Yuta walks in and says if she ever needs some advice, he’s here for her and gives he one for free; forget about Willow Nightingale and forget what people think of you and make her own choices. Statlander walks off and has a staredown with Marina Shafir.

The Beast Mortos vs. Bandido

Tony Schiavone says this is a stand-by match because of what happened to Komander earlier (Sii-note: Huh? Mascara Dorada replaced him, so how is this a standby match? Um, okay). No ROH World Championship on the line here, as The Beast Mortos goes after Bandido right away and tosses him around the ring. Bandido sends Mortos to the outside, where he takes him out with a tope suicida. Bandido tries a Frog Splash, but Mortos dodges it and hits a big spear, before he starts ripping at the mask of Bandido. Mortos sends Bandido to the outside, where he hits him with a tornado as we head to break.

Bandido takes over when we come back, lifting Mortos overhead for a slam, heads to the top rope, and hits the Frog Splash for a two-count. They go back and forth with offense and pin attempts before Bandido lands a knee to the face, heads back to the top rope, but Mortos is there to stop him and join him, just for Bandido to hit the fall away slam moonsault to pick up the pin and the win.

Winner: Bandido by pinfall at 11:48

Challenge Accepted

Renee is in the back with Mercedes, who says she doesn’t ‘kiss and tell’ and won’t say what she whispered to Toni Storm. Renee brings up Mercedes’ challenge for the CMLL World Women’s Championship, as we see the champion Zeuxis enter and saying ‘challenge accepted’, before knocking down Mercedes.

Every Word

Renee is in the back trying to get a medical update on Will Ospreay, before Adam Page walks in asking how he is. The Young Bucks jump in and tell Page all he has to do now is stick the landing and bring the AEW World Title to The Elite, talking about the ‘real plan’. Page says there is no plan as he didn’t ask them to what they did at Dynasty or what they did tonight, and tell them to stay out of his, Ospreay and Swerve’s business, and if he ever burns down a house again, it’ll be because he trapped them in it first. We see Prince Nana was listening in as he asks Swerve if he heard that, which Swerve says ‘every word’.

Thekla vs. Queen Aminata

The crowd chants ‘Aminata’ to start the match as Queen Aminata dodges a spin kick attempt from Thekla and drops her face-first onto the mat. Aminata puts her hand up for a test of strength, but Thekla punches her instead before she gets taken to the outside with a big kick from Aminata. Thekla slowly enters back in as Aminata starts doing push-ups and connects with another boot when Thekla enters. Thekla hits Aminata with a kick against the ropes as we head to break.

We come back with Aminata escaping a Tarantula attempt and hitting a snap suplex before hitting Off With Your Head, but Thekla pushes her off at two. Aminata stays on the attack, before heading to the top rope and hitting a double stomp for two. They go back-and-forth before Thekla lands a forearm, goes into her spider walk, and hits a spear before rolling Aminata into the Death Trap as she taps out.

Winner: Thekla by submission at 11:28

Kip’s Surprise

Lexy Nair is in the back with Kip Sabian & Nick Wayne, as Wayne asks where Christian Cage is. Sabian says Cage wanted to give Wayne some space and also ‘put in some hard work with Mother Wayne’. Sabian cuts to the surprise teased last week as we see Wayne’s highlights from the Best of the Super Juniors. Wayne says he loves it, as Sabian says he doesn’t know where Wayne would be without Christian.

They have an update on Kenny Omega, who has been taken to a local hospital, as the match for the AEW Unified Championship is still on.

Hechicero & The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Lance Archer & Konosuke Takeshita) (w/ Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero) vs. Daniel Garcia & Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong)

Matt Menard goes and joins commentary as Lance Archer is ringside with RPG Vice (Sii-note: Did he forget that he’s part of this match as well?). Commentary notices this as well, and the word must have gotten to Archer, who, after two minutes, does go onto the apron. Konosouke Takeshita grabs Roderick Strong and drops him face-first onto the turnbuckle, before Archer tags in but gets double-teamed by Strong & Kyle O’Reilly. Archer takes them both out and knocks Adam Cole & Daniel Garcia off the apron as we head to break.

We return at midnight on the dot, as Schiavone promises no more commercial breaks as Garcia & Takeshita meet in the middle of the ring. They announced that next week’s Grand Slam Mexixo will be two and a half hours. Strong starts going to town on everybody, before hitting Josh Alexander with a gutbuster and a sick kick, but he kicks out at two. All eight men enter as the babyfaces put on submissions, but Archer breaks them all up. RPG Vice gets on the apron but gets taken out by O’Reilly. Aubrey is distracted as Takeshita enters and takes out Strong, before Alexander hits Strong with a German Suplex to pick up the pin and the win.

Winners: The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita & Lance Archer) & Hechicero by pinfall at 11:56
