After a full year of inactivity, Hikuleo made his WWE debut on Friday.

The former New Japan pro wrestler performed on the Main Event tapings before Friday Night SmackDown in Lexington, Kentucky.

Hikuleo last wrestled on June 9, 2024, at New Japan’s Dominion card and signed with WWE.

The 34-year-old has been wrestling for nine years and held the STRONG Openweight Championship, and IWGP & STRONG Openweight tag titles with El Phantasmo during his tenure in New Japan.

During the Main Event taping, he was identified under that name and faced Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly.
