For the first time in months, Jake Something returned to TNA Wrestling this week.

Something appeared as part of a segment on Thursday night’s episode of Impact, which was taped earlier this month in Tempe, Arizona. He was brought out in support of Tommy Dreamer, who has been in a feud with Mance Warner ever since they had an altercation on last week’s show.

Warner was sent retreating after a short brawl with Something, teasing a potential match between the two in the future.

Prior to Thursday, Something was most recently seen on TNA TV in mid-February in a title match against Joe Hendry.

The 35-year-old talent suffered a torn triceps injury outside of in-ring competition earlier this year, causing him to undergo surgery. The setback kept him out of action for months and put an end to his run as the DPW World Champion.

Something made his independent wrestling return in May, appearing in a seven-minute scramble match at AAW in Illinois. He also worked a show earlier this June in California, his first time working under the DPW banner since his return.

It now seems likely that we’re just around the corner from Something’s return to in-ring competition for TNA.
