Former allies will battle it out for the United States Championship at WWE Night of Champions next week.

WWE United States Champion Jacob Fatu will put his title on the line against Solo Sikoa on June 28 as part of a Premium Live Event (PLE) from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

A matchup between the two was set up after they had an in-ring confrontation on Smackdown this week.

While Sikoa attempted to make amends with Fatu and bring him back into this faction alongside JC Mateo, the champ wasn’t having it. Fatu believes that Sikoa has been using him for months, and that part of why Sikoa has been “acting different” to him is because he has the United States Championship.

So, Fatu laid out the challenge: “Maybe the problem is this U.S. title. If that’s what I think it is, then fight me for it.”

After a brawl between the two broke out, getting Jimmy Uso and Mateo involved, it was confirmed later that evening that the U.S. title bout would go down at Night of Champions next weekend.

Here’s an updated look at the Night of Champions card following Friday’s episode of Smackdown. The opponents for Asuka and Randy Orton will be determined in a few days, when the other tournament semi-final bouts take place on Raw:

  • Asuka vs. TBD (Queen of the Ring 2025 Final)
  • Randy Ortson vs. TBD (King of the Ring 2025 Final)
  • Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa (WWE United States Championship)
  • Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
  • John Cena vs. CM Punk (Undisputed WWE Championship)
