Donald Trump proposes UFC event on the White House grounds in 2026

President Donald Trump is proposing a UFC event on the grounds of the White House in 2026.

During a speech in Iowa on Thursday, the president stated that a UFC event would take place at the White House to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.

We’re gonna have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there. We’re going to build a little – we’re not – Dana (White) is going to do it. Dana’s great, one of a kind. We’re going to have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20-25,000 people, and we’re going to do that as part of 250 also. We’re going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events. But the UFC fight is going to be a big deal too.

Conor McGregor was quick to share his interest in fighting at this proposed event as the embroiled fighter engaged in his appeal process against Nikita Hand this past week. McGregor was found civilly liable for sexually assaulting Hand in a decision by a jury last year.

McGregor also shared an exchange with Dana White, who stated he loved the idea.
