JBL attacked Velveteen Dream (Patrick Clark) at a Maryland Championship Wrestling event over the weekend.

Clark was teaming with Joseph Keys against Ken Dixon & Mike Walker on Saturday during MCW’s Autumn Armageddon event when JBL ran into the ring and hit Clark with the Clothesline from Hell.

Clark resumed his wrestling career last year after a three-year hiatus following his release from WWE.

While working at WWE, he was accused of sending inappropriate images to underage boys online, which Clark denied. Another allegation was made by an aspiring wrestler who said that Clark asked him to send a photo of his full body and would help him try to get a job at WWE. Paul Levesque stated in 2020 that they investigated the claims and found “nothing there”. In 2021, he was released by WWE.

Since 2024, Clark has been wrestling primarily for Maryland Championship Wrestling.
