WWE’s Big E is scheduled to publish his first autobiography in 2027.
“How I Got Over: Healing from Depression and Psychosis to Find Joy In and Out of the Ring,” a book written by Big E, is set to be published in early 2027, PWInsider reported on Monday.
Big E, real name Ettore Ewen, joined WWE’s developmental program in 2009 after injuries put an end to his career as a professional football player. He joined the main roster three years later, joining a makeshift faction with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. By 2013, Big E captured his first main roster title, defeating Curtis Axel for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
The biggest chapter of Ewen’s career will be his run alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as The New Day. The trio went on eight tag title reigns, becoming one of the most prominent teams of the 2010s along the way.
Big E has spent years out of the ring, as a broken neck from a match on Smackdown in 2022 effectively put an end to his career years ago. Big E officially confirmed his retirement in an interview earlier this year: “I’m focused on other things right now,” he said.
The 39-year-old has been open about his mental health struggles in the past. He notably penned a lengthy piece in The Players’ Tribune two years ago, discussing his past with physical injuries and depression.
An Amazon listing for the book shows that it will be 320 pages, with a release date of February 2. BenBella Books is listed as the publisher.
