Tessa Blanchard has reportedly departed TNA Wrestling.
Blanchard requested and was granted her release from the promotion, according to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp. A reason for the departure was not given. However, her status with CMLL remains unchanged.
Blanchard returned to TNA in December 2024, and many of her appearances in 2025 featured fans chanting, “She’s a racist,” in response to allegations of racism stemming from a 2017 incident involving wrestler La Rosa Negra that Allysin Kay brought to light and was corroborated by Chelsea Green and Rebel.
In a 2021 interview with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Negra noted that while she had forgiven Blanchard for her own peace of mind, the details of the incident and the slur were accurate.
In a 2023 interview with Contralona, Blanchard discussed a meeting with La Rosa Negra in which they allegedly “made amends.” She described the encounter as a moment of forgiveness.
Her last TNA match was against Harley Hudson on an episode of Thursday Night Impact.
Her departure follows multiple other wrestlers who requested their release, like Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, and Dani Luna.
