Stephanie & Liv & Becky

Monday Night Raw from Buffalo kicked off with Stephanie Vaquer calling Liv Morgan out with “her title”. Morgan appeared, flanked by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and said that as long as she’s there, Stephanie and Becky Lynch will never be the best. Vaquer invited the trio to the ring, and they obliged, quickly outnumbering her. Becky Lynch appeared, attacking all three Judgment Day members. Becky and Stephanie argued and shoved each other, letting Judgment Day take control again; they threw Becky into the post, and Roxanne hit Pop Rox on Vaquer.

Backstage, The Usos began to escort Solo Sikoa to the Bloodline locker room as they gloated about Jey’s victory last week. They ran into LA Knight, and they had a staredown.

Je’Von Evans vs. JD McDonagh

During the commercial break, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh appeared, and Dom complained again about being left out of the #1 Contenders Tournament. Je’Von Evans interrupted, calling out Big Cass, which led to a match between Evans and McDonagh that began as the show returned. Early in the match, Dominik grabbed Evans’ foot as he was going for a dive and allowed McDonagh to take control of the matchup. JD focused his offense on Evans’ knee after a dive into the timekeeper’s area seemed to hurt Evans. After another commercial break, Evans fought from underneath as he tried to fight through the knee pain to utilize his high-flying offense. In the end, McDonagh missed a moonsault, and Evans quickly hit the OG Cutter for the win.

After the match, Big Cass jumped Evans from behind yet again, but this time, before Cass could leave, Evans got on the mic and asked if that was all he had. As Cass returned to the ring, Evans nailed Cass with a kick and then a dive through the ropes. Dominik stepped in and threw Evans into the ring post, allowing Cass to finish his beatdown of Evans.

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament

Rey Fenix and El Fiscal got a promo package ahead of their match. It was noted that this was Fiscal’s first appearance in WWE, and Corey Graves touted that Fenix has defended his AAA Cruiserweight title seven times in recent days. Fenix controlled the early portion of the match, hitting his Goodbye Amigo rope-walk kick followed by a big dive onto Fiscal on the outside. After an ad break, Fenix fought from underneath as Fiscal took it to him with a discus lariat. Fiscal attempted a Tombstone, but Fenix reversed it and hit the Mexican Muscle Buster for the win. Fenix goes on to face the winner of Dragon Lee and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr, happening later tonight.

Stephanie Vaquer was interviewed backstage, and it was revealed that she would face Roxanne Perez next week in her first match back since WrestleMania. Becky Lynch interrupted and said that as long as she’s going for Liv’s title, she would be her problem.

Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria

A Lyra Valkyria pre-taped promo aired, highlighting her new character and saying that she’s much better than Sol Ruca. As Lyra made her way to the ring, Michael Cole compared her to the Sea Hag from Widow’s Bay (great show if you haven’t seen it yet). Ruca was in control early on until Lyra kicked the rope as Ruca attempted a springboard, causing Ruca to crash and burn. After a commercial, Ruca caught Lyra with a knee strike as she came off the top rope, following that up with elbows, a German Suplex, and a missile dropkick. Lyra countered a back handspring over the top rope with a neckbreaker on the rope, followed by a scissors kick off the top for a near fall. The two fought back and forth until Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher for the win.

The Usos approached Jacob Fatu backstage, continuing their gloating from earlier, with Jey asking Jacob who was a punkass now.

The Vision was interviewed backstage, and Theory brought up Oba Femi taking a cheap shot at him last week. Bron Breakker continued to stare off into the distance before stating that anything he wanted to say to Oba Femi, he’d say to his face. With that, he made his way to the ring.

Breakker called out Femi but got Paul Heyman instead. Breakker again asked Heyman who he thought the future of WWE was, and this brought out Oba Femi. Femi said he was the future, and even Brock Lesnar knows. Heyman stopped Breakker from fighting Femi and said that if he took one more step towards Oba, he would permanently step away from him. Paul said that they need to answer to the shareholders, not the fans. Heyman revealed he already set up the match for Sunday Night’s Main Event in Breakker’s “hometown” of Atlanta.

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament

A promo package for Dragon Lee and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. aired ahead of their match. The two were evenly matched as the contest began, trading offense for near falls. After an ad break, Dragon Lee built momentum, hitting a Tornado DDT followed by a dive to the outside on Wagner Jr. The two exchanged huge slaps, followed by Wagner Jr. hitting a big pump kick for a near fall. Wagner Jr. stopped a Rana attempt by powerbombing Lee over the top rope and back into the ring, following that up with a splash from the top for another near fall. Wagner Jr. hit a Superplex and set up for the Wagner Driver, but Dragon Lee countered it and hit the Operation Dragon for the win. Dragon Lee goes on to face Rey Fenix in the next round.

Intercontinental Championship

The final match of the night saw Chad Gable defend his Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio.
