Two matches have been confirmed for this weekend’s live edition of AEW Collision.
An in-ring appearance by Thekla, as well as a title showdown, will take place as part of Collision from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, this weekend.
Andrade El Idolo has vowed that he will defend his AEW National Championship on a weekly basis. After taking down Gabe Kidd and The Beast Mortos in recent weeks, he’ll continue his weekly run of title appearances by facing Daniel Garcia this weekend.
Death Riders member Garcia will be looking for his first run with the National title, which AEW only implemented late last year. His last title reign was with the TNT Championship, a run which ended in April 2025.
Saturday’s card will also feature Thekla in singles action, going head-to-head with rising talent Zayda Steel.
We haven’t seen Thekla in an AEW ring since July, when she lost her Women’s World Championship to Willow Nightingale at Redemption. While she made her return last weekend as part of a STARDOM card, her absence from AEW competition will end in just a few days.
It’s currently promoted that Thekla rival and former world champ Nightingale will be ringside on commentary for the bout.
