NXT’s Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo is being a cool customer about his recent setback.

News broke just over a week ago that Stacks suffered a serious injury at NXT’s live event in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Local attendees saw Stacks take a hard fall to the floor during a tag match, an injury which required him to be stretchered out of the venue.

After being off TV for last week’s episode of NXT TV, Stacks broke his silence in a new Instagram Story update. Posting a photo of him in the hospital, seemingly from the night he was injured, he wrote:

“Doc was worried about my ‘attitude’ … Told ’em it’s a preexisting condition. The show goes on.”

A second image showed Stacks on his feet and back to working out: “Right back to the grind,” the caption reads.

While it remains unclear how long Stacks could be out of the ring for, the recent updates show the former Heritage Cup Champion is in good spirits as he continues to recover.
