TNA’s Mike Santana will step into a WWE ring for the first time ever when he faces No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights this Tuesday.
Santana appeared backstage at Battleground this weekend, where he noted that he’s hoping to face new TNA World Champion Trick Williams. When approached by the NQCC, he accepted the challenge to face Heights in two days.
Tuesday’s show will open with an NXT North American Championship match between Ricky Saints and Ethan Page, who have been feuding on TV over the past few weeks. Their rivalry continued on Sunday, brawling inside the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida, causing security to pull them apart.
It was noted during Battleground that the winner of the title match will go on to defend the title at WWE’s Worlds Collide show with AAA next month.
While not given an official graphic, the commentary team noted at the end of Sunday’s show that Stephanie Vaquer will defend her NXT Women’s Championship on Tuesday night, and that Trick Williams will appear for the first time since winning the TNA title.
