Rusev won a hard-hitting “Old Fashioned Donnybrook” match against Sheamus at WWE Clash in Paris.

For this no-DQ match, the ringside area was festooned with Irish and Bulgarian flags, as well as liquor barrels, pub tables and stools.

The pair started by exchanging big right hands before spilling to ringside, where Sheamus set up a table.

Rusev knocked the Irishman into the ring post and set up a table of his own. Neither table took an impact, though, as the pair brawled back into the ring.

At this point, Rusev got the upper hand with multiple kendo stick shots.

This was followed by the Bulgarian delivering Sheamus’ own Ten Beats of the Bodhrán to his opponent. Sheamus rallied to deliver the Irish Curse backbreaker and hit some kendo stick shots of his own.

Chairs then came into play, but Sheamus absorbed the punishment to deliver a big boot to Rusev and deliver the Ten Beats, first on the ropes, then on a pub table at ringside.

Sheamus continued with the upper hand until Rusev escaped a Brogue Kick and managed to toss Sheamus into the steps.

Rusev then slammed Sheamus from the steps through the ringside bar table.

Back in the ring, Rusev locked in The Accolade, but Sheamus powered out.

The pair then brawled outside the ring, with Rusez delivering another Accolade on top of the whisky barrels. Again, Sheamus escaped and delivered White Noise from the barrels to the tables that had been set up earlier in the match.

With both men beaten up and weakened, Sheamus managed to deliver a Brogue Kick, but Rusev kicked out.

Sheamus then managed a big kick-out at two after Rusev broke a shillelagh across Sheamus’ back.

The finish came as Rusev locked in a final Accolade with a shillelagh shoved in Sheamus’ mouth, forcing the tap-out.
