Conor McGregor revealed he’s signed on for two UFC fights over the next year.

The former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion was a guest on the Ariel Helwani Show on Tuesday. He told Helwani that he is contracted for his upcoming July 11 bout against Max Holloway and an April 2027 fight with an opponent to be determined later.

It’s almost a year later. That’s ridiculous to me. This is the way the contract was done.

McGregor later noted that the UFC has not attempted to extend his contract despite a desire to stay. He also claimed that there were discussions for a two-fight deal with Terence Crawford worth $200 million involving Turki Alalshikh. However, Crawford declined.

McGregor also revealed that Bare Knuckle FC, of which he is a co-owner, secured a TV deal with FOX. He then said that BKFC was aiming to do an event in Las Vegas. BKFC has not officially announced a TV deal.

BKFC is currently available only on DAZN and TrillerTV, the streaming service of BKFC parent company Triller Group.

McGregor also spoke briefly about the New York Times article that claimed the 37-year-old took banned performance-enhancing drugs to help treat his leg injury from his Dustin Poirier fight in 2021.
