Independent wrestler KJ Orso, formerly known as Fuego Del Sol in AEW, is reportedly scheduled to attend a WWE tryout in Minnesota.

Fightful Select first reported that Orso is among the wrestlers expected to participate in the tryout being held during SummerSlam week.

Orso appeared to acknowledge the report indirectly through social media on Tuesday.

He also reposted messages on Instagram from people congratulating him on the opportunity.

Orso became a regular on AEW programming during the pandemic under the Fuego Del Sol identity. After making dozens of appearances without a contract, he officially joined the promotion in August 2021 following a TNT Championship match against Miro on the inaugural episode of Rampage.

His full-time run ended in 2023, although he returned for occasional appearances. That included an August 2024 Rampage match against Roderick Strong.

Fuego lost his mask to Atticus Cogar during GCW’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9 in April 2025. He subsequently returned without the mask and began wrestling under the KJ Orso name.

Orso has remained active with GCW and appeared for TNA at Genesis in January. He challenged Stacks for the TNA International Championship in a four-way match that also included Eric Young and BDE.
