A new fighting reality series hosted by the Paul brothers is reportedly heading to Hulu and ESPN.
Deadline reported Thursday that Jake and Logan Paul will serve as the hosts on an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled combat sports reality show. The series, which is heading to Disney-owned platforms, is meant to help appeal to younger male audiences on the services.
The show follows a format similar to UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter, per a description provided to Deadline.
The show will see athletes split into two teams coached by the Paul brothers. The duos will “live and train together in the wild,” and eliminations will occur via matchups.
A description adds that competitions will take place in numerous forms of combat sports, including MMA, boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and karate.
The show will be produced by Wheelhouse, a production group that has worked on Jake’s Most Valuable Promotions entertainment brand in the past. Deadline says it’s the first time Hulu and ESPN have co-greenlit a production.
Jake Paul has become a big name in the combat sports scene over the past decade. The influencer has made a career of his own in professional boxing while working with Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) to hype up other events.
While MVP is best known for boxing events, the company announced earlier this year that they will soon merge with MMA competitor brand PFL, widening their combat sports focus.
Logan Paul is currently a member of the WWE roster, appearing on Monday Night Raw as part of heel faction The Vision.
