Pro Wrestling NOAH launched its annual N-1 Victory tournament this past weekend with Kaito Kiyomiya taking an early leadership position.
The N-1 opened on Saturday at Korakuen Hall with a free show on Wrestle Universe before heading to Okayama for Monday’s set of round-robin matches.
Kaito Kiyomiya has started off strong with a 2-0 record, defeating Alpha Wolf and Shane Haste to open his campaign in Block A. Kiyomiya and Haste headlined Monday’s show in front of 388 fans at the Okayama Convention Center.

Alpha Wolf rebounded from his opening night loss, defeating former GHC champion Yoshiki Inamura with La Pesadilla on Monday’s show.
Takashi Sugiura and Kazuyuki Fujita earned their first wins of the N-1, with Sugiura beating Yuki Iino with a neck lock and Fujita topping Chen (formerly Dante Chen in NXT) with the Beast Bomb.
The N-1 tournament runs only until September 27, so shows are fast and furious, returning on Tuesday with a set of Block B matches in Kumamoto. The show features Masa Kitamiya vs. Titus Alexander, OZAWA vs. Manabu Soya, KENTA vs. Tetsuya Endo, and Kenoh vs. Kouga.
NOAH continues with N-1 shows on Wednesday and Thursday and four consecutive nights beginning this Saturday.
