The newest rookie class has been revealed for WWE’s Performance Center.

NXT announced seven wrestlers joining their training program this week, a mix of former sporting standouts and others who are coming from a background in professional wrestling.

Aalyah Gutierrez, daughter of wrestling legend Rey Mysterio, is the most notable name in the class. Mysterio said previously that his daughter has been making trips to the PC since last October and has “loved” her experience getting started in wrestling thus far.

The class includes Zoe Sager, a Canadian wrestler who had previously been signed to the WWE ID program. The indie vet of nearly a decade has been making dark match and house show appearances for NXT recently.

Jackson Goonrey and Tyran Tuckey, a tag duo from Australia who received media attention after dropping out of college to pursue wrestling, are part of the new crop. The duo wrestled as “The Dropouts” on the Australian indies for three years.

From the athletics world, Cumberland University wrestler Cara Brown and Brazilian track and field athlete Ada da Silva are part of the class.

And Katie Reynolds, who worked for TNA as a referee under the name Alica Lane, is part of the group. Reynolds received praise earlier this year for how she handled a match at TNA Sacrifice, where Steve Maclin was injured in the opening moments.
