Friday Night SmackDown

The main event of the go-home episode of SmackDown for Night of Champions saw Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Gunther, Jey Uso and Oba Femi go face-to-face in the ring.

The June 12 edition of WWE SmackDown featured Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair winning their KOTR and QOTR matches, respectively, and Sami Zayn chosen as the special-guest ref in the WWE Title match.

The June 5 episode of SmackDown saw Chad Gable’s return and Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio advance in the Queen and King of the Ring.

Trick Williams and Tiffany Stratton defended their United States titles on the May 22 edition on SmackDown that also featured Blake Monroe’s debut.

Gunther defeated Royce Keys in the main event of the May 15 edition of SmackDown to become the No. 1 contender for Cody’s title at Clash in Italy.

Jacob Fatu sent his final words to Roman Reigns, and the funeral for the Gingerbread Man main evented the go-home SmackDown for Backlash.

Gunther surprised Cody Rhodes to set him up to challenge for the title, and Jacob Fatu continued his war against The Usos and the MFTs.

The April 24 episode of WWE SmackDown saw Fatal Influence make an impactful debut, as well as Jacob Fatu versus Solo Sikoa in the main event.
