Cesaro to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash

The WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash is official as Cesaro will challenge for the title on Sunday, May 16^th.

On the “Throwback” edition of Friday Night SmackDown, an impromptu stipulation was introduced during a cameo appearance from Teddy Long that if Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins he would earn the title shot.

During the match, Rollins argued with Jey & the returning Jimmy Uso where he shoved Jey and ate a superkick from Jimmy on the floor. Cesaro capitalized by hitting the Gotch Neutralizer to Rollins and pinned him to earn the Universal title match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash.
