NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii to make Dragongate in-ring debut on August 20th

Ishii will be part of a Dragongate card that’ll feature three title bouts. 

Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo is hosting Dragongate Japan Pro-Wrestling’s August 20th show. There is going to be three championship title defenses and NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii is making his in-ring debut for the promotion.

With the G1 coming to a close, Ishii sits at two points in the C Block. David Finlay, EVIL and Eddie Kingston are tied at eight points for first place in the block.

Ishii will be part of a six-man tag for Dragongate and below is the full match card: 

  • Dragon Dia, Kaito Nagano & Daiki Yanagiuchi vs. Kzy, BIGBOSS Shimizu & U-T
  • Último Dragón, Naruki Doi, B×B Hulk & Minorita vs. Shuji Kondo, Kagetora, Problem Dragon & Punch Tominaga
  • Open the Brave Gate Championship: ISHIN (c) vs. Mochizuki Junior
  • Yuki Yoshioka, Ben-K & Strong Machine J vs. Masaaki Mochizuki, Don Fujii & Tomohiro Ishii
  • YAMATO vs. Fujita Hayato
  • Open the Twin Gate Championships — Three Way Tag Team Match: Susumu Mochizuki & Yasushi Kanda (c) vs. Jason Lee & JACKY ‘FUNKY’ KAMEI vs. KAI & H.Y.O.
