WWE SmackDown tops all TV programming in 18-49 demographic

Friday Night SmackDown was the top program on all television this past Friday in the 18-49 demographic.

The November 7 episode of SmackDown from Buffalo averaged 1,536,000 viewers and 630,000 viewers (0.47) in the 18-49, which were the show’s highest figures since October 11, per Wrestlenomics & Programming Insider.

The show’s viewership increased by 8% and the demo audience grew by 11% over the past week. It topped the Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks on ESPN (0.39), and Big Ten College Football on Fox (0.35) in the 18-49 demographic.

Its viewership in Canada was 269,100 and averaged 130,400 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360, ranking second for the night in sports behind the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Detroit Red Wings.

SmackDown featured the in-ring meeting between Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn to bookend the program and culminated with the four coming together to form a team going into War Games.

AEW Rampage attempted to rebound after posting the show’s lowest numbers ever last week.

The November 7 show saw a 38% increase with 237,000 viewers and 94,000 (0.07) in the 18-49 demographic.

In the core demo, male viewership only saw a 6% increase averaging 54,000 viewers but the show’s female viewership nearly doubled from 17,000 viewers last week to 33,000 this week.

It ranked #18 among prime-time cable programs and in its time slot it ranked behind Gutfeld on Fox News, On Patrol: Live on Reelz, Scare Tactics on USA Network, NASCAR Trucks Racing on FS1, 90 Day Fiance on TLC, and Gold Rush on Discovery.

Rampage featured a rematch between Lio Rush and Komander in the main event after headlining the previous week.
