WWE launched their independent development program that came with multiple talents being identified as ‘WWE I.D.’ talents.
When said wrestlers have their independent matches, WWE will promote it on their social and digital platforms.
On X, Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque revealed men’s and women’s WWE I.D. Championships. He wrote the following:
The top independent wrestling prospects have been ID’d… and now, we’re ready to spotlight the best of the best.
Here’s your first look at the Men’s and Women’s @WWEID Championships.
The first set of champions are going to be determined by a tournament across ‘top’ independent promotions. The titles will then be defended on the indies.
